Steph Derstine is a Senior Account Executive at BerlinRosen, where she works with labor unions and social impact organizations on communications strategies to help uplift those fighting for racial and economic justice. Prior to BerlinRosen, Steph worked in book publishing as an editor and led media relations for several bestselling authors—including the late and great literary giant Ursula K. Le Guin, whose bottomless snark was a treasure to receive in email form. Steph lives in Brooklyn but hails from Texas and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, where she studied how to sniff out the best Tex-Mex in any city, including Brooklyn, NY, where she now resides.
