Hamaad Najam joined the Legal Affairs and Crisis Communications team in 2022, where he works with plaintiff-side law firms and criminal justice reform advocates to shape public opinion through comprehensive media relations strategies. Hamaad previously interned at a Texas-based public affairs firm and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. He was a volunteer coordinator with Justice Democrats, focusing on writing messaging and building campaign communications infrastructure. He is also a proud Houstonian and keeps detailed lists of the best places to eat and thrift in each city he visits.
