Chester Jesus Soria is a Vice President at BerlinRosen, focusing on housing, economic development and public affairs. Before joining BerlinRosen, he was communications manager for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, developing its communications strategy for community-led safety initiatives. He previously served as deputy press secretary for the New York City Housing Authority and communications manager for IMPACCT Brooklyn, a nonprofit community development corporation. Before working in strategic communications, Chester reported on City Hall and local issues for Gotham Gazette, Metro New York, and WNYC. He received his master’s degree from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and his bachelor’s in communication from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
