Allison Bormel is a Senior Vice President at BerlinRosen focused on issue advocacy, education, and campaigns and elections. Leveraging her media experience and relationships from years on Capitol Hill and in the Obama administration, Allison helps clients break through the noise to secure quality earned media placements and thought leadership opportunities. At the firm, she has raised the profile of candidates for statewide office, led communications strategies for emerging nonprofits and guided universities through crisis situations. Before BerlinRosen, Allison served at USAID and as the Communications Director for Democratic U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, of California. On weekends she explores all of the playgrounds suburban D.C. has to offer with her young daughter.
