What We’re Up To
We have been named PRWeek’s Outstanding Large Agency of the Year! This huge honor recognizes the hard work and dedication of each team member here at BerlinRosen and our partnerships with incredible organizations. PRWeek shares:
“For previous years’ PRWeek Awards, BerlinRosen was considered a midsize agency. Then, in 2022, it went big — and now it is the winner of the Outstanding Large Agency award.
The agency is, in the words of one judge, ‘an amazing success story on all of the important fronts: growth, diversification and leadership in the industry and society at large.’ In 2022, the agency’s team grew by 62% (from 253 to 411) and its footprint expanded from three offices to seven, with Chicago and London among the additions. A seven-figure investment raised salary bands an average of 10% while revenue grew by 34%.
Notable wins included OpenTable, the MacArthur Foundation and Planned Parenthood. Among standout client work was the firm’s longstanding relationship with Sandy Hook families. After six years of helping audiences understand the importance of their lawsuit against Remington Arms, BerlinRosen’s support culminated in the families receiving a $73 million settlement. The agency also partnered with the Brooklyn Public Library to publicize its Books Unbanned initiative. The response to the wave of censorship sweeping the country included making the library’s entire catalog available to teens nationwide, among them those affected by local book bans. The effort received national media coverage and a congratulatory tweet from President Obama.
One acquisition in BerlinRosen’s busy year promises to make the agency a leader in the diversity space. DE&I consulting firm Onward, which has offered cutting-edge solutions in DE&I since its founding in 2016 to partners such as Adobe, LinkedIn and Pinterest, will bolster BerlinRosen’s and its clients’ DE&I efforts.”
Thank you, PRWeek! We are thrilled to receive this major recognition.
