Hamaad Najam is a member of the Legal Affairs and Crisis Communications team, where he develops media strategies for clients tackling some of the most urgent issues of our time – from workers’ rights to criminal justice reform to election security and beyond – helping them navigate complex political, legal, and reputational challenges. Before joining the team in 2022, Hamaad interned at a Texas-based public affairs firm while earning his bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin. He also served as a volunteer coordinator with Justice Democrats, where he focused on developing messaging and building grassroots communications infrastructure for progressive campaigns. He is a proud Houstonian and keeps detailed lists of the best places to eat and thrift in each city he visits.
