Raul is an Account Director at BerlinRosen, focusing on philanthropy, labor and inclusive economic development. Prior to BerlinRosen, Raul began his career as a spokesperson for NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, where he was responsible for rapid response for several City agencies and topics, including criminal justice reform, the City’s multibillion-dollar budget and labor relations. Raul also served as an External Affairs Manager for the Mayor’s Office for Minority- and Women-owned Business Enterprises. He played a key role in organizing advocates, business owners and lawmakers to expand opportunities for minority and women entrepreneurs in New York City. Raul is an outspoken advocate for immigrant rights, often sharing his personal story growing up as an undocumented immigrant in New York. He was born in Santiago, Chile and currently lives in Brooklyn.
