Melanie Shumate is a Vice President at BerlinRosen, where she works with a wide range of clients to create a more inclusive and equitable financial system. Building on a decade of communications experience spanning nonprofit, higher education, and financial services sectors, Melanie serves as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders and key stakeholders. Prior to joining BerlinRosen, Melanie was Head of Communications at State Street Global Advisors, where she led the firm’s executive, internal, and corporate communications strategy. An avid traveler, Melanie’s experiences living and working abroad have provided her with a unique global perspective – and a deep appreciation for xiao long bao.
