Jamitress Bowden is a Vice President in the Issue Advocacy practice focused on helping clients across various issue areas, including education, environmental justice, and philanthropy. Jamitress loves to connect with reporters to help tell powerful stories. Before joining BerlinRosen, Jamitress spent more than five years working in the House of Representatives. She was a spokeswoman for the House Committee on Oversight and Reform – first for the late Chairman Elijah E. Cummings and then for Chairwoman Carolyn B. Maloney. Jamitress also served as the Communications Director for Congressman A. Donald McEachin and worked for Congressman Bobby Scott, the top Democrat on the Committee on Education and Labor. Jamitress spends time with family and friends, plays with her dog, and finds new brunch spots in her spare time.
