Our winning 2013 work
BerlinRosen won three Pollie Awards for exemplary work during the 2013 political season. The peer-judged awards were presented by the American Association of Political Consultants at the 2014 Annual Pollie Awards & Conference on April 4 in San Diego, CA.
- A gold Pollie in the category of Radio Ads on behalf of a candidate by an Independent Expenditure for “Yes He Does”, which we produced for SEIU COPE to help Robin Kelly beat Debbie Halvorson in the special election for the Illinois 2 seat last February.
- A silver Pollie for direct mail sent on behalf of a candidate by a membership organization – for “Thank You Debbie Halvorson” – against Halvorson in that same special election. Our client was the SEIU Illinois State Council.
- A bronze Pollie in the Non-Mail-Brochure category in support of a candidate, ballot initiative or public affairs campaign for “A Guide to Paid Sick Days,” created for the Washington Work and Family Coalition at the request of our client, Family Values @Work.
“This year’s Pollie Awards were especially competitive for an off cycle with over 1,600 entries,” said AAPC President Art Hackney.
