In conversation with PRovoke Media, BerlinRosen’s senior vice president Janna Pea talks with Senior Reporter Diana Marszalek on the PRovoke Podcast.
Together they discuss the social impact and racial justice in PR, the media and personal lives. In a year that brought forth a powerful swarm of activism and protests surrounding the Black Lives Matter movement, Janna Pea discusses the personal and professional challenges that activists and allies are facing in the current political climate.
“As a Black woman I can relate in so many ways to the work that the clients I’ve worked with are doing and I happen to be fully thought in and supportive and passionate because of that added layer of connection,” said Janna when asked about her experience with clients during the past year of activism.
Janna also praises BerlinRosen for our work to hire inclusive talent and create safe-spaces for employees and especially employees of color. “At BerlinRosen we have a pretty amazing culture, the space is created to be and show up however you feel.”
